The typical composition features carbon (≈0.25–0.30%), along with manganese, chromium, nickel, and molybdenum, all of which enhance hardness, strength, and toughness. These plates showcase a nominal hardness of 500 HBW, a tensile strength ranging from 1650 to 2000 MPa, and impressive impact resistance, even in low temperatures.
