EN91 is a creep-resistant steel alloy made from chromium, molybdenum, and vanadium, typically containing 8–9% chromium, 0.9–1.0% molybdenum, and around 0.2% vanadium. It may also include trace amounts of niobium and nitrogen to boost strength. EN91 boasts outstanding mechanical properties at high temperatures, with tensile strength ranging from 585–760 MPa and yield strength between 415–585 MPa, depending on the heat treatment process. It maintains its structural integrity even under prolonged thermal and mechanical stress.
