EN9 steel, often referred to as 070M55, is a medium carbon steel that contains around 0.50–0.60% carbon and 0.60–1.00% manganese. It boasts impressive tensile strength, ranging from 500–800 MPa, along with good wear resistance. This material has moderate ductility and can be heat treated to enhance its hardness.
