High Carbon Steel C45 Sheets and Plates generally contain between 0.42–0.50% carbon, along with manganese (0.50–0.80%), silicon (up to 0.40%), and small amounts of sulfur and phosphorus. This specific composition results in high tensile strength, good toughness, and remarkable hardness after heat treatment.
