16Mo3 is a low-alloy, pressure vessel-grade steel that mainly consists of carbon (0.12–0.20%), manganese (0.40–0.90%), and molybdenum (0.25–0.35%) to boost strength and heat resistance. It also includes trace amounts of silicon, phosphorus, and sulfur.
